In 1975, CheilJedang launched ‘Beef DASIDA,’ a new composite seasoning, and the ‘DASIDA’ brand.

The word DASIDA originates from the term to describe something that is ‘lip smackingly delicious’ (dasida in Korean), quickly conquered the seasoning market and became No.1 immediately after launching. It has since grown into a brand that is still loved by many.

DASIDA is Korea’s first composite seasoning and it was made after researching the consumption habits of Koreans who typically enjoy soup in their meals. The product’s base consists of beef and anchovies, and its flavor is enhanced by vegetables such as green onions, garlic, onions and spices, so you can be sure to rely on it to use with any types of food.
